Jason Day's former mind coach dubbed "king of kids" guilty of grooming teen
Jason Day's former mind coach has been convicted of sexually abusing a teenage girl after a two-week trial in Brisbane, Australia.
Jason Day's former mind coach dubbed "the king of kids" has been convicted of grooming a teenage golfer, according to The New Daily.
The publication report that Sean Patrick Lynch, 68, manipulated a 13-year-old girl into starting a secret relationship.
Prosecutor Chris Cook told the jury during the two-week trial that during one alleged incident he was happy to stop but "it would help her golf".
"He is a successful mind coach [with] Jason Day, all these people we have heard about," said Cook.

"He was able to manipulate the mind of [the girl] not to tell her family any of it.
"She didn't say anything because she trusted that everything that Mr Lynch did was in her best interests."
The abuse started in April 2017 and carried on until December 2019, according to the publication.
Lynch reportedly sent multiple messages to the girl that escalated to "dirty talk" and ultimately showing the victim adult content.
