Bryson DeChambeau: What's in the bag of the US Open champion in 2021?
Bryson DeChambeau has become one of the best and most powerful golfers in the world, so what does he have in his golf bag?
Known as "the scientist", Bryson DeChambeau has used many different methods to improve his game and he has reaped the rewards on the PGA Tour this season.
The World No. 5 won the US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in September 2020 and he also won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, taking his PGA Tour win tally to eight.
The 27-year-old is, by far, the tour's most improved player this season and this shows with his statistics in strokes gained and driving distance.
DeChambeau leads the way in driving distance, strokes gained from off the tee, strokes gained from tee to green and overall strokes gained on the PGA Tour.
These incredible statistics are a result of his aim to build his muscle and increase his distances, and although he may divide opinion amongst golf fans, there is no doubting what he has achieved.
All of his irons in his bag are seven-iron length to ensure he can swing the club consistently. This is another method of DeChambeau's that has led to great success.
