Boom, roasted! Xander Schauffele pelted by golf fans over inexplicable video
PGA Tour superstar Xander Schauffele was described as giving a 'below par' effort for a promotional video for one of his partners.
Xander Schauffele was described as 'a natural' as he delivered one of the most hilarious online advertisements in recent memory.
After an exhausting PGA Tour season Schauffele has got a bit of downtime now before he heads to Italy with the rest of Team USA for the Ryder Cup.
As is standard for a tour pro, Schauffele has many sponsors and partners. One of them is the sports betting company DraftKings.
In the 31-second clip, Schauffele managed to squeeze in about 9095303446603 words. Okay, it wasn't that many. But it felt like it.
Is this the fastest a human has ever spoken in history? Come on X-Man, this effort wasn't your best effort?!

Understandably and rather predictably Schauffele's ad was leapt upon by Golf Twitter X™.
Here's some of the reaction:

Draft Kings: Xander, we absolutely love it. Basically perfect, no notes. Just wondering if you can do one more read for us, just to give us a second option for the suits, where you go way, way faster. https://t.co/Gse61virjz

Xander, buddy. This is the worst promo read I’ve ever seen in my life. https://t.co/OqB8Kud7XX
