WATCH: Sergio Garcia cards shocking 13 on 15th at Masters!
Defending champ Sergio Garcia equals the highest ever score on a hole at the Masters
What a difference a year makes! Defending champion Sergio Garcia was not particularly enjoying his first round of the Masters as he stood on the par-5 15th, but his day was about to get a whole lot worse.
Garcia, who found himself 2-over for the day standing on the 15th (a hole he eagled en route to winning his maiden major 12 months ago), sent wedge after wedge into the pond short of the green en route to a shocking 13.
The score equalled the highest ever score on a hole at the Masters - matching the baker dozen scores of Tom Weiskopf (12th hole, 1980) and Tommy Nakajima (13th hole, 1978) - and the worst ever on the 15th by two shots.

Garcia went on to birdie the 16th to card a disastrous opening round of 9-over and play himself well out of contention for a successful title defence.
