Tiger Woods just got replaced for the swaggiest (?!) hole-in-one of all time
Tiger Woods may hold claim to one of the greatest aces in PGA Tour history, but this effort from Jan Choi might just be the greatest of all time, well, at least if it's real...
Yes, Tiger Woods' hole-in-one in front of beer-fuelled fans at the 1997 Phoenix Open had plenty of swag about it, but we think an unbelievable ace recorded by Jan Choi using Shot Tracer this week has just beaten it.
Well, if it's real of course...
Now before we go any further, let's relive that incredible ace from a fresh-faced Tiger Woods at the 1997 Phoenix Open.
Woods was just 21 at the time when he holed out for an ace with a 6-iron from 170 yards at the famed par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale.
He had already won three of his record-tying 82 PGA Tour victories heading to Arizona.
Although Woods did not go on to win the tournament, he did win an off-white Oldsmobile Aurora with a 1997 sticker price of $35,000 for his efforts.
The ace marked Woods' second hole-in-one of his PGA Tour career.
Woods has hit a hole-in-one 20 times in his lifetime, with his first coming at the age of six.
But only three have ever landed for him in PGA Tour events: '96 Greater Milwaukee Open, '97 Phoenix Open, '98 Sprint International.
If truth be told, we only remember one of them and that was in '97.
The shot, the commentary, the noise, the celebration, the beer cans. It really had it all.
Okay, now for an even swaggier ace courtesy of golfer Jan Choi and the reason you are here.
As Choi pulls the trigger on the par-3 14th at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, he instantly spins around to look the other way from the target.
Choi then rather arrogantly whips out an iron to holster celebration while his ball is still drawing in towards the flag.
Miguel Angel Jimenez would most certainly be proud of such swagger.
Choi's ball then eventually lands on the right side of the green and trundles into the cup for a hole-in-one.
He posted his incredible feat onto Instagram using Shot Tracer to add to the spectacle.
'Best hole-in-one in history? Video created using @shot.tracer Pro for Mac and PC,' Choi captioned his post.
The Torque GC account from the LIV Golf League posted 'wow' in the list of replies.
But was it real or fake?

Here's how golf fans reacted to the ace:
This is outrageous if real !!
Unreal, I can't even get one with solid balance
Whaaaat, no waaaayyyyy. Such a cool shot.
No way that's real but I still love it
I don’t get why the videographer is so calm…like bro, are you awake?!
Dude, that is unbelievable!
5-iron Samurai, sick
Drawing a ball into that pin is unreal
Not real, good video editing
That's better than Tiger Woods' in Phoenix!
Looks cool but definitely not real
Swaggiest ace of all time, if it's real
