Brucie warms up for Strictly with ClubstoHire
Popular TV host prepares for new series with golfing trip to Malaga
BRUCE FORSYTH proved he's still in the swing for another season of Strictly Come Dancing when he dropped in on ClubstoHire’s Malaga store to rent a set of clubs for a golf trip.
After collecting clubs from the award-winning ClubstoHire service – available at 17 different locations across Europe – the 85-year-old posed for a picture with the Malaga airport store manager, Alan Drake, before setting off to play in one of the most highly-rated golfing regions in the world.
He then dropped off the clubs a week later and gave the hire service a special 10/10 rating.
“Bruce was in fine form when he came into the ClubstoHire shop and it’s clear he’s taking his golf seriously as he rented a set of the new TaylorMade RBZ 2 clubs,” said Drake.
“He seemed to really enjoy the golf and was very pleased with our service that helped make his trip much easier.”
Golf-lover Forsyth was able to take advantage of the quick and easy pick-up service at ClubstoHire’s most popular store – located in the main arrivals building at Malaga airport – and avoided the hassle of carrying clubs onto his flight and then waiting for them at the busy baggage hall.
ClubstoHire.com offers sets of clubs from TaylorMade, Callaway, Wilson Staff and Mizuno from as little as €35 per set per week and has saved more than 70,000 travelling golfers in excess of €3 million in airline baggage charges during its three-year existence.
Earlier this year, its easy-to-use website was re-launched to cope with the increasing number of users.
Other ClubstoHire locations include Faro; Lagos (Algarve); Lisbon; Madeira; Murcia; Alicante; Girona; La Linea/Gibraltar; Palma in Majorca; Tenerife; Gran Canaria; Belek; Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus; Isle of Man, as well as Edinburgh and Dublin.
