Sun Mountain launches new premium waterproof bags
Innovative Lite model heads up latest state-of-the-art bag range
SUN MOUNTAIN is launching a spectacular new range of its popular H2NO waterproof bags with five feature-packed models designed to cope with rainy conditions throughout the 2014 season.
The No.1 golf bag brand – which was the first to introduce waterproof bags for all-weather golfers six years ago – is adding three new versions of Europe’s most popular carry bag, plus two models predominantly for cart use.
Constructed from a super-lightweight nylon fabric with a 2000mm coating to protect golf clubs and accessories from the elements, all five bags come with an accompanying rain hood and proven waterproof YKK zippers and taped seams. They are also adaptable for club cresting and the most elaborate embroidery patterns.
The H2NO Lite stand bag weighs less than 2.1kg and the bag boasts a host of features, including four waterproof pockets for clothing and valuables. A 9.5” oval, 4-way top with integrated handle ensures complete ease-of-use when taking clubs in and out of the bag, while an E-Z Fit® Dual Strap System provides maximum comfort when carrying. A cart-friendly base also offers golfers the choice of fitting the bag onto a trolley.
There are no fewer than seven different colour options available with the H2NO Lite, including a new Royal blue/black/lava combination.
“The new H2NO range is genuinely state-of-the-art in terms of being lightweight, durable and waterproof,” said chief designer Seth Enes.
“Extensive testing shows that when its rain hood is attached, the bag hood can cope with heavy rain showers to keep clubs and grips dry. If caught in a shower, golfers can always change into waterproof clothing during a round. But they can’t change their bag, which often means wet equipment and a negative impact on scoring and enjoyment,” he added.
