Woods has made it clear that he has a very long way to go in his recovery until he is competing in PGA Tour or major tournaments in 2022, but the fact he has agreed to peg it up with his son in the 36-hole tournament on December 18 to 19 in Florida has to be a positive sign.

No doubt much will change depending on how Woods plays next weekend.

Should Woods not play in any of the 2022 majors, you will get your money back. The only time you would lose your money is if he starts the tournament and then withdraws.

Woods did the unthinkable in 2019 when returning to action to win his 15th career major at The Masters - and his first major win since the 2008 US Open.
