Danielle Kang throws FIRST PITCH at San Francisco Giants game!
LPGA Tour star Danielle Kang recently threw out the first pitch at a San Francisco Giants game.
LPGA Tour star Danielle Kang made a different kind of pitch as she took the pitcher's mound ahead of a San Francisco Giants game this weekend.
The Giants were playing against the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend and Kang was in town for the International Crown on the LPGA Tour schedule, which is being played at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
The tournament is a country-based team event that hasn't been on the LPGA Tour schedule since 2018.

Kang is playing on Team USA with Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson, and Lilia Vu. They were the top-ranked team coming into the tournament.
They've since advanced to Sunday's semifinals matches, where they're set to play against Team Thailand.
The other semifinal is Sweden against Australia. The tournament began with eight teams of four players each.
After one of her rounds this week, Kang, who was born in San Francisco, threw out the first pitch at the Oracle Park stadium.

Kang is a six-time LPGA Tour winner, which includes one major with her maiden victory at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in 2017.
She won one LPGA tournament last year, the season-opening Tournament of Champions.
However, in June 2022, she revealed she had a spinal tumour, and took some time off before returning to play at the CP Women's Open in late August.
So far this season, she's played in six tournaments. Her best finish so far has been a tie for third at the HSBC Women's World Championship in March.
