Charley Hull takes EMBARRASSING tumble as tee box collapses in New York
England's Charley Hull was left red-faced after she took a tumble playing the Aramco Team Series event in New York on the Ladies European Tour.
England's Charley Hull - who ended her winless drought at The Ascendant two weeks ago - appears to be having an interesting few days in New York.
Hull, who recently addressed the chatter about a LIV Golf for women, is playing the Aramco Team Series event on the Ladies European Tour.
She struggled in the first round, notching an 82 in the windy conditions at Trump Ferry Point.
Her play was far, far better in the second round but sadly that won't be the talking point.
This will.
Hull took an unfortunate tumble when she decided to take the weight off as she waited for the group in front to clear the green at No. 17.
For the first few seconds it appears that all is well. But then the tee box collapsed and Hull was left, legs sprawled, in a heap on the ground.
Laura Davies nabbed a pick and chided: "Well done done captain. Charley just broke the tee on 17."

The Ladies European Tour also captured the moment in real time.

Fair play to Hull for taking the moment with good humour.
It was all the more impressive that after she picked herself up and dusted herself down she then proceeded to make a birdie.
In the tournament, Lexi Thompson has the lead going into the final round.
Thompson is one shot clear of Nelly Korda.
Both Korda and Thompson faced questions about a possible LIV Golf league for women before the tournament began.
