Phil Mickelson slams former tour pro: "His obsession borders on the psychotic"
"At least I never had to work with him" - Phil Mickelson
Phil Mickelson may be blocked by LIV Golf critic Brandel Chamblee, but that hasn't stopped Lefty continuing to go after the Golf Channel analyst.
Mickelson and Chamblee began ripping each other on social media after the PGA Championship at Oak Hill.
NEW: Brooks Koepka "actively recruiting" PGA Tour star and major champion to LIV Golf
It started with a viral clip of Chamblee appearing to be lost for words in an hilarious exchange with Brad Faxon after Brooks Koepka lifted the Wanamaker.
Since then, it's all got a little bit nasty.
Mickelson was asked after the second major of the year why he continues to trade barbs online.

His response was simply to say he wanted to hold people accountable because he 'knows things' that will come out soon.
"He can rip apart me and countless others but as soon as someone shows his ignorance he can't handle it," Mickelson wrote of Chamblee. "He's softer now than he was as a player."
Chamblee's response was detailed, to say the least. He wrote a 538-word retort to Mickelson and Koepka's coach Claude Harmon III who went on an all-time rant for the ages in an interview with Golfweek's Adam Schupack.
The farrago of whataboutisms that inevitably accompanies any discussion on sportswashing, attempts, in answering a condemnation with an accusation, to impugn the credibility of the accuser and to distract from having to deal with the complexities of the question. Much like…

The "Live From" anchor stayed firm in his stance, insisting Mickelson, 52, and all those who signed with the breakaway tour are "paid actors" doing the bidding of a murderous dictator.
Things turned a little bit more interesting when Lisa Cornwell, a former Golf Channel reporter, accused Chamblee of being a bully.
Cornwell has written a book and one of the chapter's focuses on the 60-year-old former PGA Tour player.
As far as Cornwell is concerned, Chamblee 'showed his true colours' in his aforementioned exchange with Faxon.
Mickelson has now re-shared the clip, writing: "His obsession with me (and LIV) borders on the psychotic, at least I never had to work with him. Wow."

“Brandel Chamblee is nasty,a bully, and worse.” Unfortunately, I can’t take credit for this quote.
His obsession with LIV (and me) borders on the psychotic, at least I never had to work with him. Wow https://t.co/ii22BshiAR— Phil Mickelson (@PhilMickelson) June 1, 2023
