Phil Mickelson has hailed what he believes is the 'full truth' about the PGA Tour, DP World Tour's agreement with LIV Golf's Saudi backers.
Phil Mickelson has hailed what he believes as the 'full truth' behind the PGA Tour, DP World Tour's agreement with LIV Golf's backers.
Mickelson is currently in Hemel Hempstead, just outside of London, for the LIV Golf League's ninth event of their 2023 campaign.
It already seems a lifetime ago that a stunning peace deal was announced between golf's leading organisations.
Said peace deal brought an immediate end to the expensive litigation that was only lining the attorneys' pockets.

"Awesome day today," Mickelson posted on 6 June. Since then, Mickelson has been somewhat quiet. For his standards.
Of course, he's posted bits of content here and there. He told us all to put 'personal feelings aside' on 21 June as he shared a cool video on how to improve your chipping.

But other than that Mickelson has essentially kept schtum about the agreement. Until now, but he's let someone else explain his thoughts.
"This thread is a long and accurate FULL truth(not half truth) of the LIV/PGA Tour agreement if you're interested," Mickelson wrote above a post from Bob Ball.
The detailed post, which you can read below, outlines how Ball believes PGA Tour players 'are screwed' if they don't support the aforementioned framework agreement.
Other claims made were:
- LIV Golf mastermind and prominent Saudi businessman Yasir Al-Rumayyan will be firmly in control of the new company but wants to leave the day-to-day operations of the different tours to the 'skilled professionals'.
- LIV Golf cannot be shuttered unless Al-Rumayyan approves
- The new board won't have the power to sell anything or spend a certain amount of money, merge with another tour, sign contracts or come close to even touching LIV without PIF's consent
- Greg Norman and Al-Rumayyan are being purposefully quiet
- The review 'empirical evaluation' of LIV is a clause that is designed to protect the breakaway tour
- PGA Tour chief Jay Monahan and DP World Tour boss Keith Pelley 'need to go'

A message to the players of the PGA Tour.
You are all in trouble & screwed if you don’t support the Framework agreement. I’ve signed similar frameworks with institutional capital, so I also want to tell you what’s really going on with the agreement.
