LIV Golf player apologises to tour pro after drunk post! "Should know better..."
LIV Golf's Richard Bland has apologised to Eddie Pepperell after their social media spat.
Richard Bland, who plays in LIV Golf League events, has apologised to Eddie Pepperell after he made a dig at the Englishman out of the blue.
The short-lived spat came from a discussion about LIV Golf's 'party hole' at The Grange Golf Club in Australia.
Brooks Koepka's younger brother Chase made a simply epic hole-in-one during Sunday's final round, sparking wild scenes.
The so-called 'Watering Hole' was LIV's answer to the PGA Tour's famous par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale.

If you don't know what hole that is, it's the same one Tiger Woods that made an earthshaking ace at way back in 1997.
Every year in Phoenix the fans in attendance get a bit rowdy. In 2022, some PGA Tour players whipped their shirts off in their celebrations.
They were warned that any future conduct like that wouldn't be tolerated. Others were simply disgusted with the beer showers.
The LIV Golf fans were certainly more than a bit rowdy after Koepka's ace, prompting Bland to write to LIV critic Pepperell:
HOLE-IN-ONE FOR CHASE KOEPKA! #LIVGolf pic.twitter.com/hFyd1qLopw

Pepperell didn't take too kindly to the comment and replied with this left hook.
It appears that Bland was TUI (Tweeting under the influence).
He clarified:
Bland finished T-32 at the most recent LIV Golf event, earning a pay cheque for $162,500.
He is part of the Cleeks side in the 'rebel' league, which is captained by Germany's Martin Kaymer.
The Cleeks have struggled in the team element and are currently placed 11th out of 12 teams after four events.
Only the Majesticks, comprising of Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson and Sam Horsfield have a worse record.
