LIV Golf announce THREE NEW VENUES for 2023, including former PGA Tour courses
The Gallery Golf Club in Tucson, Cedar Ridge Country Club in Tulsa and The Old White at the Greenbrier in West Virginia have been added to the LIV Golf 2023 schedule.
LIV Golf continues to plan ahead for its new season in 2023 after announcing three new venues in the bumper 14-event schedule, including two former PGA Tour stops.
On August 4-6, The Old White Course will host the Greenbrier event in West Virginia. This course used to host the Greenbrier Classic on Tour which was first played in 2010.
The event was renamed A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier in 2018 when LIV Golf player Kevin Na won. Fellow LIV participant Joaquin Niemann won the 2019 edition which was the last appearance of the event on Tour due to diminishing attendance.
The Old White was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and opened for play in 1913. The course was named as such for The Old White Hotel which stood on the grounds from 1858 to 1922.
On March 17, LIV Golf is heading to The Gallery Golf Club near Tucson, Arizona. The Gallery Golf Club was established in 1998 after the design of the North Course, a design collaboration between former Open champion Tom Lehman and John Fought.

In 2007, the course hosted the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship for the first time, won by controversial LIV Golf defector and brief-serving Ryder Cup captain Henrik Stenson.
The popular event on Tour returned to Dove Mountain in 2008 and was won by Tiger Woods. Woods went on to crush fellow American Stewart Cink 8&7 in the final.
Cedar Ridge Country Club in Tulsa was the third and final venue announced by LIV Golf on Wednesday. The Oklahoma course will welcome fans to the grounds on May 12-14.
"We're proud the Tulsa region will again be in the spotlight for professional golf this spring," Mike Neal, the President and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber, told FOX23.
"We congratulate Cedar Ridge Country Club on this exciting announcement and look forward to working with them as we welcome athletes and spectators from across the globe to northeast Oklahoma."
Talor Gooch, Eugenio Chacarra, Charles Howell III, Peter Uihlein, Matthew Wolff and Abraham Ancer all have ties to Oklahoma which would explain why CEO Greg Norman was keen to visit Broken Arrow next year.
