Ian Poulter has said that LIV Golf has "room" for some players during a recent Instagram Q&A.
Ian Poulter has said in an Instagram Q&A over the weekend that LIV Golf has "room" for players to join the rival league.
Poulter, 47, has been a member of Greg Norman's LIV Golf since its inaugural event in London last June. He's since played in every event and co-captains the Majesticks GC with Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson.
His best finish to date has been 12th, which he's placed twice - first at the Bangkok event in 2022 and then again in Mayakoba for the 2023 season opener.
He's currently ranked No. 33 in the individual standings, and his team is ranked No. 12 out of 12 teams.
Most recently in Singapore for the fifth LIV event of the season, Poulter finished 28th while the Majesticks finished 11th.

"It's an ongoing process. We've got a long list of players who want to come in. We just don't have the ability today because players are under contract," said Norman. "But we'll get to a position where there will be a relegation series and places will start opening up."
He added:
The LIV Golf league is currently set up with 48 players divided into 12 teams of four players. These rosters are set in place for the 2023 season.
The next LIV event is 12 May in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
