WATCH: Cheeky fox STEALS golf ball on tee box then does a runner into the woods
"We've heard of birdies on the golf course but this is something else"
You should be prepared for anything when you step onto the golf course.
Animals are no strangers to invading the fairways and getting up to mischief.
But it's all the better when it is captured on video.
Another clip has gone viral and this time it's of a cheeky fox sneaking up to a player's teed up ball.
The gorgeous, red-haired animal with black fur on his feet looks guilty before even committing the theft.

RELATED: FOX SNATCHES BALL THEN RUNS TO THE BUNKER
The player whose ball it is clearly sees the funny side of it.
He can be heard saying "Yo, give me that" and "Get outta here" as he chases after the pesky animal.
Like us, you might be thinking what is the actual ruling here?
Clearly, there is no penalty and you'll have to grab a new ball if you can't chase the fox down.
And even if this wasn't your tee shot it's deemed an outside influence and the ball should just be replaced to where it was.
