How and when to watch the US PGA this week
US PGA TV times for Sky Sports Golf, ESPN, Golf Channel and CBS Sports viewers...
Golf's first major of the year has finally arrived as TPC Harding Park plays host to the 102nd US PGA Championship, and as you would expect for such a prestigious tournament, there will be just shy of 40 hours of live golf coverage from Thursday to Sunday.
These might be very different times for us all right now with the coronavirus pandemic, and so the coverage might not be quite so fluent or as comprehensive in terms of camera crews as a result, but we can assure you that you will see just about every single shot struck by some of the world's best players this week.
One thing we can guarantee during the coverage this week is that you will see some fairly dense rough just off the fairways, as Ian Poulter indicates perfectly in his latest video...
Tip of the Day.
Use the section of grass that the mower has been on. It will ease all stress levels. @PGATOUR @PGAChampionship @TPCHardingPark #golf #pgatour pic.twitter.com/qpOAmiGhpm— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) August 4, 2020
Justin Thomas will fancy his chances of a second US PGA title, especially after winning last week's WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational, while a resurgent Brooks Koepka, who finished tied second last week, will remarkably bid to win the US PGA for a third consecutive year.
This feat has only been achieved six times in the history of golf, with Peter Thomson the last to win three majors in a row when lifting the Claret Jug at the 1956 Open.
THE COURSE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HARDING PARK
We have provided a list for both UK and US residents as to when you will be able to sit back and relax and watch the US PGA coverage this week, with Sky Sports Golf covering things for us British viewers and ESPN, Golf Channel and CBS taking care of things for our American friends.
Let's just hope CBS Sports remembers to include some European Tour wins on the leaderboard this time. If you aren't sure what we are on about, just check out THIS article from Sunday night at the WGC, which certainly ruffled a few feathers on social media.
