First look: Cobra KING and KING X wedges

COBRA Golf has released its latest KING and KING X wedges, packed with new features to improve performance.

These clubs use MIM (Metal Injection Molding) technology, making them more precise and giving them a softer feel.

Key features:

🔹 MIM Technology – Creates a tighter, more consistent club design for better control.
🔹 Flight Window Technology (F.W.T.) – Adjusts weight placement for each loft, helping players hit more accurate shots.
🔹 Progressive Spin Technology – Different groove shapes on the clubface maximize spin and control.
🔹 Bigger Speed Notch – A redesigned sole shape helps the club glide smoothly through grass for cleaner contact.

Wedge options for different playing styles:

COBRA offers four sole grinds to fit different swings and course conditions:
✅ DROP (D) Grind – Best for players who hit down steeply on the ball and play on soft grass.
✅ WIDELOW (W) Grind – Ideal for soft sand and turf, preventing the club from digging too much.
✅ VERSATILE (V) Grind – A great all-around option for most conditions.
✅ TOUR (T) Grind – Designed for pros, offering the most control and shot variety.

KING & KING-X models:

🟡 KING Wedge – Classic design available in Satin Chrome, Black QPQ, or RAW finishes (£139 each).
🟡 KING-X Wedge – A more forgiving, game-improvement model with extra weight in the perimeter for stability (£139 each).

Both models come with premium steel or graphite shafts and will be available in stores from 6 March, 2025.
