adidas Golf launch NEW footwear and apparel in sustainable PRIMEBLUE material

adidas Golf have increased their commitment to offering sustainable products by introducing apparel and footwear in PRIMEBLUE recycle material.

This special capsule is part of the company's long term goal to innovate the area of sustainability until they reach the target of using only recycled polyester in all products by 2024.

PRIMEBLUE is a high performance recycled material that is made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. These plastics were found on beaches, in communities and on shorelines.

The apparel as part of the PRIMEBLUE line includes a Two-Tone Pique Polo, a HEAT.RDY Polo and a Quarter-zip jacket for men.

In the women's clothing line, there is the Short-Sleeve POLO and the Quarter-zip jacket too and all clothing is made with at least 95% recycled polyester.

There is also an option for shorts for both men and women and women can also purchase the Sleeveless racerback too.

adidas Golf are also introducing the new CODECHAOS21 footwear range, which is designed to disrupt and redefine what golf shoes can look and feel like.

"We completely disrupted the market when we first introduced CODECHAOS last year," said Masun Dension, the global footwear director of adidas Golf.

"Building upon the success of that first model, CODECHAOS21 continues to redefine the definition of what golf shoes can be by bringing the personality and performance that golfers will expect, just now in a more sustainable package."

They have enhanced the upper to feature a sporty design aesthetic while also using PRIMEBLUE recycled yarns that contain more than 50% Parley Ocean Plastic.

The new shoes also contain overlapping microfibre panels on both the lateral and medial side of the shoe to give golfers more stability and protection.

Golfers will be grateful for the spikeless outsole featuring TWISTGRIP technology, providing all players with the best grip possible.

Full-length boost cushioning for added comfort and the torsion X stability bar are common features that can also be found with the original CODECHAOS line.
