TaylorMade launch new Stealth line of drivers and fairway woods for 2022
Take a look at the new equipment from TaylorMade for 2022...
TaylorMade have today launched their new equipment for 2022 with the announcement of their new Stealth line.
We already got a glimpse of the new Stealth driver when Tiger Woods tested the red-faced big stick at the PNC Championship last December.
Now we can take a closer look at the line of products from TaylorMade, who for more than 20 years have been leading the way in product design.
TaylorMade are making a bold claim with their latest product releases, saying that more than 20 years' worth of research have gone into the new era of driver technology in their carbon twist face drivers.

Why carbon?
One of the features of Stealth carbon woods is the red face. It has 60 layers of carbon fibre to help provide more speed.
TaylorMade say their engineers made a 26g face, which is 40 per cent lighter than a titanium face of the same size.
The face size of Stealth is 11 per cent larger than the SIM2 and SIM2 Max drivers.
With this, the company say the weigh savings and larger face made possible by the twist face deliver stunning new ball speeds compared to the previous models.
Nanotextrure face technology
The nanotexture cover is made from a thin polyurethane layer that creates a strong and flexible striking surface which serves to optimise distance.
TaylorMade say this technology produces the ideal amount of friction between the face and the ball at impact to reduce spin in dry conditions.
The full-face scorelines are designed to provide improved spin performance in wet conditions.
Speed
Despite the larger face, club head speed does not decline with Stealth. The adjustable weight creates advanced aerodynamics at the most critical phase of the swing.

How does it sound?
Based on the experience with older carbon headed clubs, it could be expected the Stealth family of drivers suffer from a muted and low-energy sound.
But the TaylorMade engineers have been able to create a bright and powerful sound.
