Oscar Jacobson unveils Spring/Summer 2016 apparel
Swedish brand concentrates on keeping players 'cool and comforable' in hot weather
Oscar Jacobson has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2016 apparel offering, with the emphasis on staying “cool and comfortable” on the course.
The brand says rather than focusing on optimising performance in all weathers, the company is producing apparel to keep you comfortable in the heat.
The range, which utilises the brand’s 113-year heritage in tailoring, boasts striking polos and shorts, with former favourites lining up alongside newcomers.
Polos
Alwin - thin striped polo in jersey knit, with stiff flat-knit collar.
Russel - classic pique polo with bold panels across the upper chest, shoulders and sleeves.
Rob - Classic pique polo, with a ribbed collar and subtle, distinctive colours trims.
OJ Sports’ SS16 collection offers four styles of shorts in a variety of colours from the subtle to bold, including a vibrant yellow in Baily, a cotton twill Chino design with hint of elastane for enhanced comfort and fit.
Laurence is a polyester Tech short in a wide spectrum of colours, ranging from navy, black and grey at the classic end, to royal blue, yellow, red, green and white at the more striking end.
The OJ Classic Gaston shorts offer a cotton blend option in six colours, while the OJ Cool Marky shorts provide two checked options in a lightweight polyester fabric with enhanced wicking properties.
The collection is available in two colour themes – Resort for a more classic look majoring on blues, yellows and whites, and Club, a reflection of the wider fashion industry’s influences, mixing white with added contrast colours to create a sophisticated, yet sporty look.
