FootJoy have released their latest in golf footwear with the new Tour Alpha.

The brand are currently the number one shoe in golf. Their newest release features the latest in footwear technology.
They say that it delivers the ultimate stability option with the added benefit of supreme comfort.
At the forefront of its innovation is the optimised performance stabiliser (OPS).
It is a three component innovation that locks in the golfer's foot to deliver superior feel and unrivalled traction and optimise power.
Taking a look at the shoe, there is a 3D moulded heel counter that provides a stiffer rear structure provide support to the Achilles.
There is also "dual durometer midsole", which combines a soft-core midfoot piece. It centres the back foot for controlled balance during the loading of the swing.
Finally, there is an A-frame support system, which FootJoy say is an external structure that fuses the heel counter and the midsole together.

There are also some other features and benefits. FootJoy say the new line allow for 12.7 per cent more walking cushioning than the Tour X.
They are also 10 per cent more mobile in trail foot eversion during the swing versus the Tour X, which prevents the back foot from rolling.
This allows for increased power efficiency through the swing.
