Scottie Scheffler clapped back at Tom Kim when replying with a birdie bomb of his own on the 7th during their fourballs match at the Presidents Cup.

Kim dropped a birdie putt from some 35 feet and then gave it large to the home fans.

The South Korean then bounced around the green shouting 'COME ON!' before slappjng hands with his playing partner Sungjae Im.

This was all while Scheffler was lining up his own 30-footer from a similar line to tie the hole.

Kim eventually calmed down, and Scheffler stepped in to take his putt.

The World No.1 then buried his birdie putt right in the heart of the cup.

Scheffler turned immediately over to Kim and shouted out: 'WHAT WAS THAT?!'

It should be noted Scheffler and Kim are very good friends.

But their friendship is seemingly out the window on the course this week as they face off against each other in the Presidents Cup.

Scheffler's birdie bomb ensured he and his playing partner Russell Henley remained 2up in the match.

Then on the next hole, Kim drained another 30-footer for birdie.

Kim once again gave it large shouting out 'COME ON!'

Scheffler plucked Kim's ball out and handed it to him, barely looking at him in the process.

The American could not reply with a birdie of his own and the match was back to 1up.

While Scheffler was lining up his birdie putt, Kim and Im walked straight over to the 9th tee.

It is believed International assistant Camilo Villegas instigated the move for Kim and Im to walk on.

Commentator Paul McGinley was not impressed with the actions of the International team.

"Wow, that is bordering on bad behaviour, that is disrespectful in my opinion," said McGinley.

"I know it's competitive out there, but it shows you an underlying edge here that it's not all fun and games."

The birdie bombs from Scheffler and Kim continued on the 10th too, with Scheffler holing from 35 feet and Kim from 30.
