Tiger Woods overheard telling multiple PGA Tour winner to 'f--- off' at PNC Championship

Tiger Woods didn't take too kindly to being told he was 'an old man' by his good buddy Steve Stricker before the PNC Championship.

Tiger Woods may be nearly 49 years old, but that doesn't mean he's old yet.

At least that was his verdict when he bumped into his good buddy Steve Stricker before the PNC Championship in Florida.

The 15-time major champion is playing the hit-and-giggle PGA Tour event with his teenage son Charlie over the next two days whilst Stricker has daughter Izzi as his partner.

Woods and Stricker have teamed up on a number of occasions over the years, most notably at the 2009 Presidents Cup when they went 4-0.

Their Ryder Cup record wasn't particularly anything to shout about, but it's clear the duo have a deep bond.

Woods took to the range early on Friday morning and was spotted bear-hugging a number of people.

First up he saw Fred Couples.

Woods found it particularly amusing that the former Masters champion now has six fairway woods in his bag.

Then he made his way down the range.

He gave Izzi a hug then approached 'Stricks'.

"Hey old man," hot mics picked up Stricker saying.

"Come here, f--- off," Woods replied before sharing a warm embrace.

Woods then watched Stricker hit some shots.

Team Woods are out at 10.44am EST tomorrow alongside former Open champion Justin Leonard and his son Jason.

Woods walked all 18 holes in his practice round with Charlie.

In his pre-tournament news conference, he spoke about how Charlie is handling his last name.

He also revealed the primary reason why he went under the knife in September for the sixth back surgery of his career was to give him the best possible chance to play this week with Charlie.
