When he lifted the RBC Heritage title 12 months ago, it represented his fourth win in five starts and 10th overall since his first PGA Tour win.
Scheffler isn't the only high-profile name in the field.
Justin Rose is in the field despite enduring his second Masters playoff heartbreak.
Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are also playing.
As the RBC Heritage is a signature event, it has a huge prize purse.
The winner of the 2025 edition of the tournament will take home the top prize of $3.6m from the $20m purse.
