PGA Tour pro banned for three months after violating Anti-Doping Policy
PGA Tour pro Byeong Hun An has violated the PGA Tour Anti-Doping Policy and has been suspended for three months.
PGA Tour pro Byeong Hun An, also known as Ben An, has "violated the Tour's Anti-Doping Policy and has been suspended for three months," according to an official statement from the PGA Tour.
According to the Tour's statement, which you can read in full below, An, 32, "tested positive for a substance prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) contained in a cough medicine available over the counter in his native Korea."
The suspension came into effect from August 31, 2023, so An has already served close to half of the ban as the Tour continues its Fall Series in Las Vegas this week.
An has never won on the PGA Tour but he did win the DP World Tour's biggest event of the season at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in 2015.
