Tiger Woods half-niece celebrates birth of second child with MLB star
Tiger Woods' half-niece and LPGA Tour pro Cheyenne Woods has given birth to a baby girl.
Tiger Woods' half-niece and LPGA Tour player Cheyenne Woods has announced the birth of her second child, Maya, in an Instagram post.
Cheyenne, 33, is married to MLB New York Yankees center fielder, Aaron Hicks.
Maya was born on October 25.
Cheyenne took to Instagram to post her news with the caption: "The day our hearts exploded once again. Maya Nicole Hicks, you are so loved. Welcome to the world baby girl."
Aaron and Cheyenne welcomed their first child, Cameron, into the world in April 2022.
Cheyenne has one victory to her name coming at the 2014 Volvik Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.
She joined the LPGA Tour a year later but has not competed since the 2021 Portland Classic.
Cheyenne has notched two top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour and has amassed more than $300,000 in earnings on the circuit.
During a CNN interview in 2018, Cheyenne spoke about her relationship with her half-uncle and 15-time major champion Tiger Woods.
"He's been a huge inspiration for me," Cheyenne said of Tiger before adding the former World No.1 has always been there to help her and give her advice on how to improve her golf game.
Cheyenne added: "I'm very proud to be related to my uncle, but it's not what defines me as a golfer or as a person. Yes, my last name is Woods, but you can call me Cheyenne."
