LIV Golf pro denies rumour: "That's not true at all"
Sergio Garcia's LIV Golf teammate Eugenio Chacarra has denied that he wants to leave the breakaway tour but admits his future is not in his hands.
Sergio Garcia's LIV Golf teammate Eugenio Chacarra says reports he wants to leave the breakaway tour are wide of the mark.
Tron Carter from the popular No Laying Up podcast claimed last week that the Spaniard was desperate to leave the rival league after three years.
Chacarra was a highly touted prospect as an amateur, expected to make a name for himself on the PGA Tour.

But when he turned professional he opted to sign a contract with LIV and found a home at Garcia's Fireballs.
He has won once but has mixed results this season.
Chacarra has now told bunkered that he has absolutely no plans to leave, but he has hinted that the 2017 Masters champion may not keep him on his roster.
His contract has expired and has not yet been renewed.
Currently, the Fireballs is made up of Garcia, Chacarra, David Puig and Abraham Ancer.
The reigning U.S. Amateur champion, Jose Luis Ballester, has reportedly caught Garcia's attention and is keen to join LIV.
Chacarra told the publication: "That's not true at all [that I want to leave].
"I don't know what’s going to happen next year.
"I wasn't relegated so I'm still available for any team and maybe Fireballs, we'll see what Sergio decides.
"I would love to stay, my goal is to stay and even if they don't pick me, I can still go to LIV Promotions and play my way in, so we'll see what happens.
"Good golf will take care of itself, but I'm excited for these upcoming opportunities."
Chacarra said he has not yet held a discussion with Garcia about his future.
He added: "We've just talked like normal; he's always been very nice to me.
"The season only just ended two weeks ago so it's a little early.
"He had a great season, and the team played pretty well.
"We have a great team with great chemistry and whatever happens will be for the best.
"I love the Fireballs; I played there for three years and have fought for every shot.
"It's always going to be in my heart.
"We'll see what happens but hopefully I can stay with the Fireballs."
LIV Promotions will take place over 8-10 December at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates.
The top three finishers will receive spots in the 2025 LIV Golf League.
Competitors will be play four rounds of strokeplay, with a 36-hole shootout on the final day.
If Chacarra doesn't secure a 2025 berth in LIV there, then he has plenty of other options.
"I'm a member on the Asian Tour because I won on the International Series, so I can make my way up to LIV or the DP World Tour or PGA Tour," he said.
"But like I said, my goal is to stay on LIV."
LIV are likely to up the ante on their recruitment over the coming months.
Bubba Watson, Branden Grace, Kalle Samooja, Kieran Vincent and Scott Vincent were the players who got relegated.
Watson is likely to retain his spot and it is said Grace wants to be retained by the South African quartet.
Kieran Vincent was on Jon Rahm's Legion XIII and therefore it's likely the Spaniard may try and convince another high-profile player to join him.
