LIV Golf has confirmed Anthony Kim will once again be a wildcard for the 2025 season.
Kim, 39, will act as one of two wildcards in the 2025 LIV Golf League.
The update comes as something of a surprise to a number of LIV Golf fans given it was widely viewed on social media Kim would join up with a new team for the first time.
It had been considered wildcards were going to be scrapped to ensure every player in the league had a team.
But it has come to light today ahead of today's season opener in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that Kim will be acting alone for a second straight campaign.
The majority of ardent AK fans are just happy Kim is back on the breakaway league despite learning he won't have a team in 2025.
Kim wasn't quite sure what was going on when he was recently asked about his LIV future.
"I don't know what's going on," Kim told reporters in November.
"I'll just let whatever news comes out from LIV Golf."
But Kim's LIV future was finally resolved ahead of LIV Golf Riyadh today.
LIV Golf has also confirmed Chieh-Po Lee will fill the other wildcard position.

Kim was also a wildcard for his debut LIV Golf season.
Hudson Swafford was the other wildcard but he has not been invited back for 2025.
Kim made a shock return to the game having been absent from it for well over 10 years.
The popular American won three times on the PGA Tour between 2008 and 2010 and he was considered one of the hottest talents in world golf.
He also competed in both victorious 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup and 2009 U.S. Presidents Cup teams.
But Kim endured something of a lacklustre return to the pro game in 2024.
Kim played in 11 LIV Golf events with a best result of 36th coming at Greenbrier.
He did not earn a single point for his individual performances but he did slowly begin to show some improved form towards the end of the season.
Despite his poor results Kim still amassed just shy of $1m in on-course earnings.
Kim reportedly signed a $7.5m deal to join LIV Golf in early 2024.
The former World No.6 did something he had not done in 12 years when making a pro cut in November 2024.
That came at the International Series Qatar where he went on to finish 37th.
Kim then made an outrageous revelation about Golf Channel before Christmas.

Lee won the LIV Golf Promotions event at the end of 2024 to earn his playing privileges on LIV Golf for 2025.
LIV Golf Riyadh marks the first event of the 2025 season and it gets underway today.
It will be played under the lights for the first time in LIV Golf history.
Tyrrell Hatton, Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are towards the front of the betting market.
