David Puig is a Spanish professional golfer that currently plays on the Asian Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf League.
He was born on 7 December 2001 in La Garriga and had a wildly successful junior career before he turned professional in 2022.
Puig cut short his time at Arizona State University to join the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series and has played well enough to retain his spot.
He was a member of Joaquin Niemann's Torque but has since been traded to Sergio Garcia's Fireballs where his other teammates are Abe Ancer and Luis Masaveu.
Puig is yet to win a LIV Golf event but has stepped into the winner's circle, twice, on the Asian Tour's International Series.
His caddie is Jon Rahm's former college teammate Alberto Sanchez.
Puig has so far participated in three major championships, with his best finish a T39 at the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club.
He missed cuts at the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla and the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon. He is yet to play The Masters.
