Full Biography
Robert Duncan MacIntyre is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.
MacIntyre was born in Oban on 3 August 1996.
Growing up in a sporting family, he initially excelled in shinty before focusing on golf.
He excelled as an amateur, with his biggest achievement winning the Scottish Amateur Championship in 2015.
He turned professional in 2017 and has since racked up a number of impressive victories.
MacIntyre's first big victory came in 2022 at the Italian Open.
His first PGA Tour victory arrived two years later when he clinched the RBC Canadian Open with his father on the bag.
MacIntyre is yet to win a major championship but he has tasted team success in the Ryder Cup.
He contributed to Europe's five-point victory in 2023 by notching 2.5 points.
MacIntyre is not married. His reported net worth is believed to be in the region of $5m.
