PGA Tour superstar Patrick Cantlay is married to wife Nikki Cantlay, formerly Guidish.
Nikki and Patrick got married in Italy less than 24 hours after the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome on October 2, 2023.
Their wedding came immediately after Team USA were defeated 16½ - 11½ by Team Europe at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
Patrick picked up two points from four during the week for his nation but was the subject of fierce controversy.
The golfer decided not to wear a Team USA hat and it was speculated he was doing so as a protest for not getting paid.
His caddie Joe LaCava was also involved in a furious argument with Rory McIlroy at the conclusion of their match.
Said argument spilled over into the hotel car park and McIlroy had to be bundled into a vehicle in front of his wife Erica Stoll.
For his part Patrick denied the reports about the hat. "If I was protesting you'd know," he later said.

Patrick and Nikki got engaged during a trip to California in September 2022 alongside fellow golfer Xander Schauffele and his wife Maya.
Nikki took to her Instagram to reveal the news. She captioned the post: "My whole heart".
According to her LinkedIn page, Nikki has been working as a Doctor of Pharmacy for several years.
Born in 1991 in Florida, Nikki Guidish initially pursued a career in fitness modeling and bodybuilding.
She competed between 2014 and 2016, even gracing the cover of South Tampa Magazine.
Guidish was also involved in promoting Tony Little products on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).
However, her career trajectory shifted as she transitioned into the pharmaceutical field.
Guidish earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of South Florida in 2018, later working as a pharmacist for Publix.
By 2020, she advanced to the position of pharmacist in charge at Palm Beach Pharmaceuticals.
Nikki was first seen alongside Patrick when he won the Memorial Tournament at Jack Nicklaus' Muirfield Village in 2021.
Her father Jerry Guidish is an amateur golfer and her grandmother Juliann M Guidish won several club championships.
Patrick and Nikki do not have any children, but the couple have a dog named Mav.
