PGA Tour pro reveals why he's "sick of Justin Thomas"
J.T Poston joked on Twitter that Justin Thomas' success is causing some family problems.
PGA Tour player J.T Poston took to Twitter to admit he's "sick of Justin Thomas" and revealed that it's causing some problems between him and his mother.
"I’m sick of Justin Thomas winning so much. Even my mom refers to me as “the other JT”," tweeted Poston on Monday.
Now of course Poston is only joking around and everyone saw the funny side of the tweet and it's great to see the professionals in the sport we love having some fun.
Thomas is often referred to as 'JT' by his friends, fellow PGA Tour players, commentary team and pretty much everyone who knows him, including golf fans around the world who have been supporting the World No.3 since he arrived on tour.
Poston, whose first names are James Tyree, but officially uses his initials on the PGA Tour, has one victory to his name, which came at the 2019 Wyndham Championship, where he beat tour veteran Webb Simpson by a stroke.
Thomas, who is clearly appreciated by Poston's mother, has won 13 times on the PGA Tour, including a pajor championship which came at the 2017 PGA Championship.
The light-hearted tweet from Poston went down very well with golf fans and it's obvious why he's become so popular in recent years.
JT - looks like your mom was a sharp cookie to have you share a name with another famous golfer named JT. It could be worse... you could be named after a famous actor from The Beverly Hillbillies
