PGA Tour Driving Distance 2023: Rory McIlroy leads, LIV Golf pro still in Top 10
Rory McIlroy is running away with things when it comes to driving distance on the PGA Tour.
Rory McIlroy may have had something of a love-hate relationship with his new driver this season, but he still finds himself well ahead when it comes to driving distance on the PGA Tour in 2023.
McIlroy revealed he was having difficulties with his new TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Driver earlier in the year but then quickly sorted things out with TaylorMade reps ahead of the WGC Match Play.
The World No.3 hit one of the most incredible drives in PGA Tour history on the 18th hole in that particular championship.

So far this season on measured drives, McIlroy is averaging a gigantic 326.6 yards with his Stealth 2 Plus Driver.
This is a club that features prominently in our Best Golf Drivers buyer guide for 2023.
McIlroy is a full six yards longer than next best on the list, Brandon Matthews (320.4 yards).
McIlroy last won the driving distance stakes on the PGA Tour in 2018.
He has regularly finished in the top five.
