How much did Corey Conners and others win at the PGA Tour's Texas Open?
Corey Conners, a Kent State University alum became the third Canadian to win on PGA Tour this season.
Corey Conners didn't need to earn a last-minute Masters invite like many in the field at TPC San Antonio this past week.
But the Canadian still finished atop the leaderboard Sunday for his second PGA Tour victory exactly four years after his first.
The 31-year-old defeated Sam Stevens by one stroke after tapping in for par on his final hole to become a two-time winner of the Valero Texas Open.
He's the third Canadian to win this season after Mackenzie Hughes at the Sanderson Farms Championship and Adam Svensson at the RSM Classic.
Matt Kuchar and Sam Ryder came up short in their hopes for an invite to the season's first major.

Ryan Gerard and Nicolai Hojgaard didn't walk away with a route to Augusta, but both players did earn special temporary tour membership.
In addition to the 500 FedEx Cup points he earned with the win, Conners also took home a $1.6m from the $8.9m purse.
