WATCH: When golf fans moved a giant rock for Tiger Woods in Phoenix
Throwback to when Tiger fans rolled a giant rock out the way for him at the 1999 Phoenix Open...
Tiger Woods might not have gone on to win the 1999 Phoenix Open, but his errant tee shot at the par-5 13th in the final round did create one of the most incredible sights in PGA Tour history.
Just two years after his famous hole-in-one on the iconic Stadium Hole par-3 16th, Woods sent his drive well left into the desert and his ball came to rest behind a giant rock. This rock wasn't just big, it was incredibly heavy. So weighty in fact it required a football team of Tiger fans to roll it out the way...
Rocco Mediate went on to win the tournament on 11-under par, two strokes clear of Justin Leonard with Woods back in third on 8-under par.
