Sergio Garcia wins Andalucia Valderrama Masters
Sergio Garcia successfully defends his title for his 15th European Tour title.
Sergio Garcia successfully defended his Andalucia Valderrama Masters title in a 54-hole Monday finish due to inclement weather.
Garcia held a three-stroke lead with 10 holes remaining on Monday, and despite the deficit being eroded to one stroke with six holes to play, the local hero eventually held on for a comfortable four-stroke triumph.
The 2017 Masters winner carded a final-round 69 to finish on 12-under, four clear of Ireland's Shane Lowry.
It marks Garcia's third win in this tournament following victories in 2011 and 2017.
Finland's Mikko Korhonen was six strokes back in solo third.
