If you thought the world couldn't get any more bizarre in 2021, a man has this week been spotted teeing up a golf ball on a busy high street in Dundee full of pedestrians and vehicles.
The clip shows the city centre golfer creating a tee on the corner of Union Street in Maryfield, down the road from the 'Home of Golf', before pulling out a driver. He is first seen taking an air shot, but then steps in again to rifle a ball across the road.
In the video, a man fires an expletive outburst at what is unfolding in front of him.

Maryfield Councillor Lynne Short told the Evening Telegraph: "I can vouch that it is sore getting hit by a golf ball.
“When I saw the video I was gobsmacked.
“My first hope was that it wasn’t a proper ball and it was one of those plastic ones but it really could have caused some problems if that had hit anyone or a vehicle.”
