Chevron Championship 2023: Field, tee times, prize purse, everything you need to know from the first women's major of the year.
The 2023 LPGA Tour season has finally arrived at its first major: the Chevron Championship.
It will be contested in Texas for the first time since it first became a major in 1983.
This year's tournament is set to begin 20 April at will feature a purse of $5.1 million. It's been moved to The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas.
The winner will also receive 650 points towards the Race to the CME Globe.
The tournament was previously hosted at Mission Hills Country Club in Palm Springs, California, which the champion would famously leap into the club's "Poppie's Pond" following their victory.
Jennifer Kupcho, the American who won the final Chevron Championship to be played at Mission Hills last year, made the final leap into Poppie's Pond after earning her maiden major championship.
Kupcho, the first ever Augusta National Women's Amateur winner back in 2019, defeated Jessica Korda by two strokes to win the Chevron Championship.
