Charley Hull recovers from a TEN (10!) to share lead with Nelly Korda on LET
England's Charley Hull recovers from a disastrous 6th hole to share the first-round lead with Nelly Korda.
England's Charley Hull recovered from a disastrous quintuple-bogey 10 on the 6th hole to share the first-round lead of the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF at Centurion Club.
The World No.18 started brightly at Centurion Club (venue of LIV Golf London last week) with birdies at the 3rd and 5th but then tumbled down the field with a 10 on the par-5 6th.
But despite that major setback, Hull bounced back incredibly with eight birdies to the house, including six on the last seven holes.
Hull signed for a 5-under 68 to share the first-round lead with World No.2 Nelly Korda.

This week's Ladies European Tour event is an Aramco Team Series event.
Hull is a captain this week and she picked Sweden’s Isabella Deilert in the Draft before fellow English player Hayley Davis was added to the team.
Deiler and Davis both carded rounds of 2-over par.
Hull is looking to maintain her impressive run of form having finished tied second at last week's US Women's Open.
This week's Ladies European Tour event is presented by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), which also bankrolls the LIV Golf League.
Despite one of the most controversial years in the sport, Saudi PIF announced plans for a shock merger with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour in June.
