Twitter reacts to Viktor Hovland's OUTRAGEOUS comment at John Deere...
During his John Deere Classic press conference, Viktor Hovland gave a completely random answer using a Stephen A. Smith impression...
Viktor Hovland has quickly established himself as one of the world's best golfers at the age of 21 - something reflected none better than being installed as the tournament favourite at this week's John Deere Classic.
Quizzed by a journalist as to what it felt like to be heading the betting going into this week's PGA Tour event, the Norweigian responded with one of the most random answers of all time by saying: "I don't know what my thoughts are on that, stay off the weed!"
Several golf fans have said Hovland is now their "new favourite golfer" following his Stephen A. Smith impression.
The journalist in question clearly didn't understand sports betting, given Hovland is 16/1 to win this week and not an "odds-on favourite", but we'll overlook that and concentrate on Hovland's comment instead!
Take a look at what golf fans are saying following Hovland's outrageous response...

Odds on? Are they laying the field at odds against then ?

They’re not odds on favourites. Odds on implies when you get less profit in return on your stake. For example 5/8 or 3/4. I believe the players mentioned are about 10/1 to win. Always has astounded me how Americans have no fucking clue about odds or gambling
