TaylorMade confirms two new players have joined the brand on NIL agreements
TaylorMade has today announced the signings of rising young stars Lev Grinberg and Louis Klein.
TaylorMade Golf Company has today announced the signings of both Lev Grinberg and Louis Klein to NIL (name, image, likeness) contracts.
Well renowned as two of the leading amateur golfers in the world, Lev and Louis have committed their future to TaylorMade by choosing to play a full bag of TaylorMade equipment and golf ball.
The latest update to come out of TaylorMade follows news GolfMagic brought you today that former World No.1 Dustin Johnson has ended his 18-year association with the brand.
Lev Grinberg
Grinberg, 17, is from the Ukraine.
He began playing golf at the age of five at Kozyn Golf & Country Club.
Lev's journey in golf has been marked by significant achievements.
In 2017, at just nine years old, Lev won his first international competition at the Cyprus Junior Open. At just 14 years old, he made his debut on the DP World Tour, becoming the second youngest player ever to make the cut at the DP World Tour’s Soudal Open.
His impressive performance has continued, with notable victories including the Waterloo Grand Prix in Belgium, which secured his place on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

In 2023, Lev represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup, contributing to the team's dominant victory.
Last year Lev continued to showcase his golfing abilities on the professional stage finishing T-37 at the Open de France.
He made the cut at both the US Junior and the US Men’s Amateur Championships, finishing 12th in the strokeplay at the Men's US Amateur, the strongest field in Amateur Golf and was the youngest player to make the cut.

Lev is a pure ball striker and has traditionally played blades through the bag, however during pre-season testing he has switched into P-7CB in his longer irons as they offer him a slightly higher launch angle and better peak height leading to more stopping power.
Despite his age, Lev carries plenty of speed, so Mark and the TaylorMade Tour Team have ensured his shafts are pretty strong to help control his spin.
During driver testing Lev gravitated towards the Qi35 LS head to help manage spin, with his final setup being a 9 degree head set at 8.5 loft with a 70-gram TX shaft, which is the perfect setup for the modern day power player.

Right, let's learn more about Louis Klein...
Louis Klein
Klein, 15, is from the Czech Republic.
He made headlines by becoming the youngest player ever to make the cut on the Challenge Tour at just 13 years old.
Louis achieved this remarkable feat at the Kaskada Golf Challenge, where he shot two rounds of level-par, showcasing his exceptional talent and composure on the professional stage.

Louis’s journey in golf began also began at the tender age of five, and he has quickly risen through the ranks.
In addition to his historic achievement on the Challenge Tour, Klein has also made a name for himself and by the time he was 14 he already has seven World Amateur Golf Ranking event wins to his name.
In 2024 he finished Runner-Up at the prestigious Sage Valley Junior Invitational, largely regarded as the best event in Junior Golf globally.
Louis has already started 2025 with a bang by claiming victory at the Junior Dubai Desert Classic.
He claimed the title with a record-setting second-round 9-under 63, which included a stretch of six consecutive birdies. Finishing with a commanding 15-under-par total Louis cruised to an eight-shot victory at the prestigious junior event at Emirates Golf Club.

Louis is very aware of his equipment for someone of his age, which enables Mark and the team to receive great feedback as to what he likes and dislikes the feel of. As he continues to grow in height and speed most of Mark’s role is to stay on top of that with the evolution of his equipment.
Even though Louis is still young he is extremely long for a player of his age, and during pre-season testing Louis found some distance gains testing the new Qi35 LS driver, which he has already put to great use.
