Winter golf clothing: Under Armour launch apparel with innovative winter tech
"Under Armour's innovative winter technologies will have golfers thinking summer in the coldest, wettest conditions"
With the colder temperatures approaching it's time to think about winter gear as we look to still play the game we love.
There are some fantastic brands out there and one of them, Under Armour, has launched their ColdGear Golf Kit line.
UnderArmour say their new winter line will keep you warmer without the additional bulk that could restrict your swing.
The new line features their Infrared 2.0 technology which they claim is an upgrade to the printed pattern before it.
This, they say, allows for a more natural stretch and greater comfort without compromising protection from the elements.
Among the winter line is a half-zip pullover, a vest, or a full-zip with hood. There are also new winter hats, trousers, gloves and mittens using this technology.

The trousers use this technology on the outside too, removing the need to wear traditional rain gear over regular trousers, allowing for greater freedom of movement in your swing.
Their winter line is complemented by a full range of clothing and accessories featuring Under Armour’s hallmark silhouettes, fabrications, and technologies. Those options include the storm sweater fleece, which features a new pile fleece look, updated styles in the playoff polo franchise, and a full range of match play pants.
"Our ColdGear Golf Kit is everything a golfer needs to compete in unpredictable elements,” said Patti Lin, Under Armour’s director of golf apparel. "The idea is simple: leverage our best cold weather product technologies to extend your season. We keep you warmer, longer, without additional bulk that could restrict your swing. It’s the perfect solution for the winter golfer."
