What's in Matthew Fitzpatrick's bag as he turns it on at BMW PGA Championship
Fitzpatrick put a new putter in the bag for the first time in 12 years.
Matthew Fitzpatrick fired a 7-under par round of 65 at Wentworth on Friday to take a share of the lead with Open champion Shane Lowry, but what clubs does the Englishman have in the bag right now?
The 26-year-old is a free agent when it comes to golf equipment, something that is farely rare to see amongst the best in the world, with Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Reed the only other two free agents inside the World's top 20.
Fitzpatrick's bag is pretty unique and he doesn't change what's in there very often, despite the game-changing technology that the latest clubs have to offer.
For the past 12 years, Fitzpatrick has been using a Yes C-Groove Tracy II putter, but this week at Wentworth for the third Rolex Series event of the year, he has changed to a Custom Bettinardi Tour putter, designed to look and feel like his previous flat-stick.
Fitzpatrick has also updated his driver, switching from the TaylorMade M2 that he has been using since 2017, to the new Titleist TSi3, which hasn't hit retail yet, but is proving a hit with multiple players on tour.
