Thomas Bjorn left FUMING after someone changes driver settings on DP World Tour
15-time DP World Tour winner Thomas Bjorn was left enraged after someone supposedly changed the settings on his driver before the first round of the acciona Open de Espana.
DP World Tour veteran Thomas Bjorn was left fuming after the first round of the acciona Open de Espana when he discovered his driver wasn't quite right.
Earlier this afternoon, the 51-year-old posted an angry tweet accusing someone of changing the settings on his driver without him realising. This was far from ideal when he teed it up on day one at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Spain.
"To the guy who changed the settings on my driver overnight in the bag store..." The Big Dane said after shooting 4-over-par on Thursday.
"May you wake up every morning for the rest of your life with bleeding haemorrhoids. #lowlife." He certainly wasn't in the mood for hiding his anger after his struggles this morning.
Nothing wrong with 180 yards and nice and high and in the fairway

Bjorn made five bogeys and just one birdie on his way to a 75. He is currently nine shots behind Ashun Wu who carded a super score of 63 in Madrid.
Home favourite and two-time tournament winner Jon Rahm also got off to a solid start with a round of 7-under-par.
It is now unlikely that Bjorn will win on the DP World Tour for the first time since the Irish Legends presented by the Paul McGinley Foundation in 2021. Before that victory, he was winless for eight years.
Some golf fans left their comments on Bjorn's strong tweet...
That Sergio Garcia's a proper rascal. https://t.co/KMwVZWjfuZ

Sorry to hear that Thomas. Did not know such espionage happen in golf.

My teenage son did the same during my long term borrow of his M5 driver. Then I realized he changed the shaft also. Hardly ideal finding out on the range before an event. Lesson learned :)
