DP World Tour: How much did they win at Genesis Scottish Open?
Xander Schauffele picked up $1,440,000 for winning the Genesis Scottish Open, his third victory in the space of two weeks in the lead-up to The Open.
Xander Schauffele is adding another string to his bow with every passing week on the PGA Tour and he has now proven he can win on a tricky links course in the UK.
He carded a level-par 70 on Sunday which was enough to finish one shot clear of fellow American Kurt Kitayama on 7-under-par. By finishing second, Kitayama claimed one of the last spots at The 150th Open Championship.
The new World No.5 went through a blip on the front nine, making bogeys on the 6th, 7th and 9th holes but he recovered with birdies on the 14th and 16th holes to distance himself from the chasers.
He took a two-shot lead into the 72nd hole in North Berwick and a strategic bogey confirmed the victory. Schauffele won the JP McManus Pro-Am earlier in the week at Adare Manor.
The 28-year-old has also converted back-to-back 54-hole leads on the PGA Tour/DP World Tour and it is also his first win in the Rolex Series on the DP World Tour.

It was also Schauffele's seventh win on the PGA Tour and he picked up $1,440,000 for his troubles which was the lion's share of the $8 million prize purse.
