He then played a beautiful third shot beyond the pin to within eight feet.
Scheffler missed the par putt but he tapped in for bogey and a round of level-par 71.
The World No.1 finished the week at 11-under par and five shots clear of DeChambeau, Riley and English.
Scheffler is now half way to the career grand slam having already won two Masters titles in 2022 and 2024.

Scheffler found the bunker off the tee down the par-4 16th and then came up shy of the green with his approach.
He then putted up to close range to make a comfortable par.
That's all he needs right now at five shots ahead.
Scheffler is cruising to a third career major title.

Rahm has just gone way left off the tee at the par-4 18th and his ball has bounded into the water.
Not that he needs the dough, but he's costing himself plenty of it right now.

Huge birdie at the short par-4 14th for our leader Scheffler.
The World No.1 came up just shy of the green with his tee shot and he then chipped past the hole to eight feet.
Scheffler then drained the crucial birdie putt to move to 11-under par and two shots clear of Rahm, who has just found the greenside bunker with his approach shot into the par-4 16th.
It looks all over, but anything can happen on The Green Mile as we have seen before down the years.
Rahm -9 (15)
Rahm split the fairway at the par-5 15th and then sent a fantastic iron shot just over the back of the green.
He putted his third shot past the hole to 12 feet but could not convert the crucial birdie attempt.
Scheffler has just made par on the par-3 13th to remain at 10-under par.
The World No.1 now has two huge scoring opportunities at the short par-4 14th and par-5 15th.
Rahm will need to find something on The Green Mile now - one of the toughest three-hole stretches in world golf.
Bradley -5 (15)
It's not going to be a second career PGA win for Bradley but the 2025 US Ryder Cup captain is making a late surge.
He's just birdied the 13th and 14th and then rolled in an eagle from 30 feet on the par-5 15th.
Bradley to 5-under par and just outside the top five.
Despite his impressive showing this week, Bradley has confirmed he will not pick himself on the Ryder Cup team.
Should he continue his good play and earn a place automatically, then that could be a different scenario for him.
DeChambeau -7 (15), Fitzpatrick -6 (16)
A birdie-bogey swing in the race for third place.
DeChambeau makes birdie on the par-5 15th to move to 7-under par alongside JT Poston.
Fitzpatrick meanwhile makes bogey on the par-4 16th up ahead to fall back to 6-under par.
It's looking highly unlikely Bryson wins a third career major and first PGA this week, but the fans are absolutely loving him once more.

Rahm misses a golden chance of a birdie on the short par-4 14th.
The Spaniard found the right greenside bunker off the tee.
He then splashed out to eight feet but missed the birdie putt.
Rahm remains one back.
Scheffler -10 (11)
Scheffler's turn to come agonisingly close to a birdie.
The World No.1 stood over a 15-footer for birdie on the par-4 11th after finding the heart of the green with his approach shot.
The putt looked in a few feet out but diverted left at the last moment.
Par for Scheffler.
One ahead.
Playing partner Noren has just made another bogey to fall out of contention on 5-under par.

Rahm just came agonisingly close to tying things back up with Scheffler.
The Spaniard sent a beautiful iron shot into the left side of the green to some 30 feet.
Rahm then putted his ball down the slope from left to right and his ball lipped out on the left side.
He was walking after it two feet out and looked in for all the world.
But he was denied.
So close for Rahm.
He remains one back.

A the 9th, Scheffler hooks his drive left into the thick rough and can only muscle his second just short of the green. A sloppy pitch races by the cup and he's scrambling for from 25 feet.
He two-putts for bogey.
Meanwhile, there are cheers from the spectator's following Jon Rahm...

Rahm has a crack at the par-5 10th in two strokes.
The Spaniard doesn't appear to like his approach with his 3-wood as his left hand flies off the club just after impact.
It's okay, though, and the LIV recruit fires a wedge from 68 feet to gimme range.

Bryson departs the difficult par-4 11th with a par.
At the 12th, his 350-yard drive finds the middle of the fairway.
From 97 yards, he zips a wedge to about seven feet or so for birdie...
Scheffler -10, Noren -7 (8)
The 8th is very much a birdie hole today and the leader and chaser walk off the green with pars.
Scheffler sends his tee shot left and plays a relatively simple chip to around 12 feet but misses low.
Noren's tee shot ends up just short of the green in the thick rough and his delightful chip stops some nine fee from the hole.
The Swede appears to misread his birdie putt as that dreadful attempt never even threatened the hole.
The lead remains three.

Rahm finds the second cut of rough with his tee shot at the 9th and overcooks his approach.
His golf ball settles at the back of the green and he opts to gently nudge his third back down the hill.
From five feet, Rahm finds the middle of the cup to keep his bogey-free round going.
