Scottie Scheffler responds as golfer arrives with fake policeman attached to car!
Scottie Scheffler gives his verdict after watching a golfer drive into the golf club with a dummy police officer attached to his car.
Scottie Scheffler admits it was 'hard not to laugh' after watching a golfer drive into a Louisville golf club with a dummy police officer dragging along the side of his car.
Scheffler, 27, was shown the hilarious viral clip by US PGA champion Xander Schauffele ahead of this week's US Open at Pinehurst No.2.
Earlier in the day, McIlroy cracked a Scheffler jail cell joke during his own press conference.
In the video, a man is seen driving into Wildwood Country Club in Louisville ahead of a big tournament with a fake policeman attached to the side of the driver's door.

The golfer was of course mocking Scheffler, who was arrested on 17 May after he misunderstood the traffic flow situation following a fatal collision in the early hours outside of Valhalla GC ahead of the second round of the US PGA.
A police officer named Bryan Gillis was said to have been holding onto the driver's door as Scheffler drove several yards in his car by the entrance to Valhalla GC.
Scheffler was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer.
He went to jail for just over an hour.
On his way to jail, he was heard telling a story about Rory McIlroy's wife!
A mugshot was shortly taken.
The two-time Masters champion was soon released from jail and went on to finish T8.
All charges were then dropped on 29 May.
Prosecutors said they simply did not have enough evidence to go forward with the case, and they asked a judge to close the case.
Here's a video of what happened:
Now watch the viral video of a golfer hilariously mocking Scheffler:
When asked for a response to the viral video during his US Open press conference, Scheffler could not help but stifle a laugh.
Scheffler said:
"Yeah, it's kind of hard not to laugh about the guy who did that. But I didn't see any videos. Xander did tell me about it yesterday. He got a pretty good kick out of it.
"But yeah, I think that's part of just having good friends. If all they did was make fun of me, it would be different. It wouldn't be as fun. But they're great guys, and they're great friends. So you've got to be able to look in the mirror and laugh at yourself, too.
"Like I said, I don't love reliving it, but sometimes being able to laugh about it is a good skill, too. When they make jokes, it's definitely hard not to laugh, especially with some of my good buddies, they're pretty funny with it."
Scheffler is out with Schauffele and McIlroy for the opening two rounds of the US Open.
The runaway World No.1 is bidding to win a sixth tournament in his last nine starts.
He is a red-hot 3/1 favourite to get the job done, which is the shortest price any golfer has been in a major since Tiger Woods in 2009.
