Billy Horschel caused an almighty stir among golf fans for his reaction to a missed putt at the 2024 US Open.
The moment arrived on the opening day of the third men's major of the year.
Horschel was lining up a birdie putt on the third hole at Pinehurst No.2.
At the time, he was four-over par for the championship and getting a tad frustrated.
But isn't that what the US Open is all about? These greens aren't meant to be easy.

Anyhow, Horschel's birdie attempt dribbled past the right edge of the cup and the American golfer reacted by lobbing his putter straight up into the air.
It's a common reaction we see from the likes of Horschel and other PGA Tour stars when they get a little bit hot under the collar.
Only most of the time the players catch their putters mid-flight.
Horschel didn't and his flatstick ended up making a mark on the green.
The 37-year-old promptly reached for his pitchmark repairer to sort out the damage.
But the moment didn't go unnoticed.
"Billy is a clown," one X user wrote. Another added: "He needs to grow up."
Another twisted the knife by writing: "I can't believe Billy Horschel did that.
"He literally just threw his putter on the green.
"That's like US kids tournament tantrums. A grown man! Shame on him.
"It takes a lot of man power to get the greens to that level."
What do you make of Horschel's behaviour here?
Judge for yourself:
Horschel ended up posting an opening round of three-over 73 at the major.
He got off to a much better start in the second round and at the time of publication had made three birdies in his opening nine holes to sit comfortably within the cut line at one-over.
