The Crypto dot com Showdown is upon us.

PGA Tour duo Rory McIlroy and player of the year Scottie Scheffler are taking on Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas.

How to watch The Showdown:

The action gets underway at 6pm ET (11pm GMT) on 17 December.

You can watch it on TNT, TBS, truTV and Max's B/R Sports Add-on.

The golfers will play three different formats over 18 holes.

The Showdown format:

The first six holes will be fourballs. It is also referred to as best ball.

The middle third will be foursomes aka alternate shot. One teammate will tee off on odd-numbered holes and the other takes the even-numbered holes.

The final six holes will consist of singles, though the exact combination is yet to be revealed.

It is likely that McIlroy will take on DeChambeau and Koepka will face the reigning Masters champion.

Each segment will be assigned a point value, with the winning team winning two of the three segments crowned champions.

GolfMagic will publish the results here as soon as we know them.
